( Leucoderma)

Dr. Tejashree Adesh Mulay had submitted her dissertation to M.U.H.S. Nashik University in 2009 for the P.G. degree M.D. (Kaya Chikitsa). Her guide was Prof. Dr. S. V. Deshpande & Research center was Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Pune (M.S.) India.

          Dr. Tejashree Mulay in her research work tried to study the efficacy of shwitrakushthhari Rasa vati in Vitiligo (Shwitra vyadhi)

          For this study she had enrolled 40 patients. Study was carried out in two groups – Group A & Group B

          Study was concluded as follows –

 Tab shwitrakushthahari rasa showed promising results in shwitra vyadhi ( Leucoderma)

Overall in group A, 5 patients reported complete re pigmentation. While 9 patients had marked re pigmentation. Total 6 patients of group A reported mild to moderate pigmentation after therapy. 11 patients of group B reported no change in pigmentation. While 9 patients reported moderate change.
